Exposed bolted scissor trusses are one of many features in the living area of this award winning build by Todd Newman Builders, Bendigo. Their clients choosing an array of natural finish materials to create a bespoke hampton country house feel.
Our exposed scissor trusses help create the large open living feel this area demands. Overlooking the natural stone finish of the fire place, the timber features of the trusses tie in with the decor perfectly.
Manufactured from Hyne Beam15 Glulam timber these trusses were finished off with a natural tinted oil finish to the clients specification. Powder coated structural steel plate connections add a great contrast against the tinted timber finish.
Working with the team at Todd Newman builders and their clients on this design was a breeze. Their vision and direction were clear from day one. We took great pleasure helping create this space for their clients and couldn’t be happier with the results.
