Lee and the crew from Franklin & Walsh builders made this award winning vision from Y2 Architecture come alive for the first stage build of Marist College in Maiden Gully; ‘La Valla’.
Working with Lee closely we were able to provide several cost savings on the first proposed design by the project engineer.
Minimising costs and only supplying exposed feature trusses where visually seen. We proposed the use of supporting Gangnail girder russes where hidden behind interior finishes and supplied where required.
Delivered to site in Mid 2014 were 30+ exposed feature trusses manufactured in house from GL18 VicASH hardwood powder coated steel plate and bolted connections. We also took care of fabricating and supplying all bracketry for the connections to posts and supporting girder trusses.
This would be the first stage of many The Truss Joint would provided to existing new build for the Marist College.
