New Double Storey Residential Build
Todd Beasy and his skilled crew have knocked this build out of the park in Swan Hill, Victoria. With high end finishes and nothing short of quality workmanship no matter where you look. Our exposed trusses steal the show within the kitchen/meals area with their sheer size. With a span of 10.25m and 52° roof pitch they measure 6.98m high to the apex and each truss weighs approx. 1340kg. Bespoke 8.5m curved radius bottom chords were built specifically for this one off design.
Size and a grandeur were the main aim around the truss design; The Truss Joint team putting a spin on the steel plate designs with custom fabrication and patterns applied. The 3x exposed trusses were designed and manufactured in house along with ridge beams, under purlins and bottom chord restraint all being supplied in Tasbeam15 Glulam.
Due to transport restrictions and size of these trusses they were first assembled in our factory and then pulled apart, flat packed and trucked to site. With the help of Todd and his crew our team re assembled and craned them into place all in one day. Finished in an oil with a custom color tint mix, every part of this design was custom.
