Set amongst the hills of the Dandenong Ranges in Sassafrass, Victoria sits this beautifully finished Australian hardwood timber structure. Externally this out building looks like its been there for years; with perfectly landscaped and garden areas surrounding. Internally you are encompassed by stunning custom hand crafted timber finishes and features.
Slide open the double entry custom hardwood barn doors and you are instantly greeted with high end timber finishes and polished concrete floors. The interior walls are clad with a mixture of Queensland hardwood timbers which match the entry barn doors.
Holding everything up and together is a Australian hardwood timber portal structure. Designed using D.A.R 190×190 spotted gum hardwood for both posts and trusses to give a robust look and feel. The structure measures 4.5m Wide x 8.5m Long. Manufactured and supplied by the Truss Joint were 4x custom hardwood exposed trusses 8x posts and tie beams to match. Custom brackets and truss plates were shop drawn by our team and finished with black powder coating and bolts.
From the first day of consultation our client knew the vision and how to achieve it. The final product is a build that is sure to be the envy of everyone who sees it.
