New Single Storey Residential Build
The Truss Joint worked closely with Paul Gray Builders and their client on the new build in rural Sedgwick, Victoria.
Using a series of different sized Beam15 from Hyne Timber we were able to create a bespoke design the fit the clients brief perfectly. Truss connections were achieved using hidden structural screws, some measuring 300mm long. This connection style allows the timber to be the hero piece of this exposed truss design.
Timber components comprise of the following sizing;
- Top Chords -190×130 Hyne Beam15
- Bottom Chords -160×130 Hyne Beam15 (custom curved)
- Diagonal Webs -130×85 Hyne Beam15
- Center Web -160×85 Hyne Beam15
Fully designed in house these trusses support a ridge beam and rafters over to support the ceiling.
